Custom Checkout Guide

This guide provides instructions for using the Checkout Page Manager. The Checkout Page Manager is a tool within the Seller Area that enables sellers to customize certain aspects of the 2CO checkout routine. This will facilitate the creation of a more consistent buyer experience, leading to improved conversion rates.

To begin, log into your 2Checkout account using the below URL: https://www.2checkout.com/va/

STEP 1  Click on the ACCOUNT tab.

STEP 2   Click the SITE MANAGEMENT sub-tab. While viewing the SITE MANAGEMENT page.

Account tab
STEP 3   Click on the blue button labeled Manage Checkout to access the Checkout Page Manager.

STEP 4   Click on the orange button labeled Create Theme to begin customizing your checkout page.

STEP 5  Upon clicking the Create Theme button, you will be directed to the Customize Template editor. The upper pane displays a preview of the checkout page (note that this is just a demonstration page so your business name will appear in live mode in place of 2Checkout Testing), and any changes made will occur in real-time. This allows you to observe the result as customizations are performed:

  • If you must return to the SITE MANAGEMENT tab in the Seller Area, simply click the back link, adjacent the Save It button.
  • Please note that if the back link is clicked, you will be immediately directed to the SITE MANAGEMENT tab; you will NOT be prompted to save your changes. To avoid having to repeat your work, we would advise clicking Save It after you make a change to your template. Upon saving your modifications, a Save Successful message will be displayed on the left hand side of the screen:

  • You may notice a 1-800 number; this is just an EXAMPLE and will NOT appear on your actual purchase theme.
  • You may also notice that the Language always says English and the Change Currency is set to USD while the Total is set to EUR; once again this is just an EXAMPLE and will NOT appear on your actual purchase page.
  • We strongly recommend that you test this by submitting a test or demo sale from an actual product within your account for verification
