How can I get a detailed report on sales and payment activity in my account?

2Checkout provides monthly Financial Statement reports on the 5th of each month in all seller accounts. These reports will detail all of the incoming and outgoing financial data related to your account for the month the report was created for. All reports will be available for 18 months from the date they were first created.

To access the Financial Statements for your account click the reports tab in your account.

You will then click the Financial Statement icon on the reports page to be redirected to the Monthly Financial Summary Reports page.

On the Monthly Financial Summary Reports page you will see a list of all of the available Financial Statements for the account.

NOTE: Reports will be retroactively loaded that provide details from January 2013 to present. 

To access a report click the blue View Report button for the month you wish to view.

NOTE: All amounts provided in the report will be in USD unless other wise specified in the report.

The Account Financial Statement & Fee Summary page will provide the following information:

Account Financial Summary: This area will identify the total sales and payment activity as well as the refunds, chargebacks and any transaction or payment related to fees as the apply to the account for the account for the month the report was generated for

Total sales: Total of all deposited sales for the month.
Refunds: Total of all refunds issued in the report month. 
Chargebacks: Total of all chargebacks incurred on the account in the report month.
Adjustments: Total of any Adjustments that were made to the account in the report month.
Transaction Fees: The total of all sales fees assessed for deposited sales in the report month.
Reserve Held: The total amount of the reserve held from sales in the report month. 
Reserve Released: The total amount of reserves from previous transactions that were released to the account in the report month.
Payments: The total of all payments released on the account in the report month.
Account Balance: The balance in the account at the time the report was generated.

Payment Amounts Funded to Seller: This section provides a high level review of the sales, refunds, chargebacks, adjustments and fees that factored into the payments on your account for the report month. There will be a single line item for each payment that was sent on the account for the report month.

Payment Date: Date the payment was released on the account.
Total Submitted Gross Transaction: Total sales included in the payment cycle.
Chargebacks: Funds held from the payment due to chargebacks in the payment cycle.
Adjustments: The total amount of any adjustments made to the payment. This could be a positive or negative balance depending on the adjustment type.
Fees: The transaction fees for the sales in the payment cycle that were deducted by 2Checkout.
Reserve Held: The amount of reserve held from the payment cycle.
Reserve Released: The amount of previously held reserves that were released on the payment cycle.
Funded Amount (USD): Amount of payment sent for the payment cycle in USD.

Submitted Transactions by Payment Type: This section classifies your submitted transactions, sales, refunds and chargebacks, by the payment type. This will be broken down by card type and PayPal.

Payment Type: The payment method used for the detailed sales. Only the card types used for sales in the account will listed, PayPal sales will also be designated in this column.

Total Gross Sales You Submitted:
Average Ticket: The average sale total for the Payment Type.
Items: The total number of sales for the Payment Type.
Amount: The USD total for the sales made with the Payment Type.

Refunds & Chargebacks:

Items: The total number of refunds and chargebacks for the Payment Type.
Amount: The USD total for refunds and chargebacks made with the Payment Type.

Total Net Transaction Amount:

Items: The total number of sales for the Payment Type.
Amount: The USD total for the sales made with the Payment Type after refunds and chargebacks were deducted.

Chargeback Summary: This section will identify all chargebacks placed on the account in the report month. It will provide the original date the chargeback was levied, the reason for the chargeback and any fee associated with the chargeback.

Original Sales Date Placed: The date the sale that resulted in a chargeback was placed.
Chargeback Date Placed: Date the chargeback was performed.
Transaction ID: 2Checkout sale number for the affected sale.
Chargeback Text: The reason for the chargeback.
Chargeback Amount: The amount of the chargeback on the sale. This amount won't always be the full sale amount, but will never be more than the full sale amount.
Chargeback Fee: The fees assessed for the chargeback.

Transaction Fee Summary: This section will provide the total number of transactions for the report month as well as the total of the transaction fees for those transactions.

Fee Type: The type of fee detailed in the line item.
  • Transaction Fees: The % and flat fee charged on a sale, for example 2.9% & .30 cents.
  • International Sales: Fee: Fee’s generated on transactions for buyers outside of the sellers physical country.
Number of Transactions Charged Fee: This will be the total number of sales that had transaction fees assessed against them in the report month. Only deposited sales will be included in the total.
Total Amount of Fees: The total amount of the fees charged for the Fee Type.

Adjustment Summary: This section provides details for any adjustments made to the account in the report month.

Note: Adjustments made to an account can be for negative or positive amounts based on the reason the adjustment was included. Each adjustment will have its own detail line.

Adjustment Date: Date the adjustment was made in the account.
Adjustment Comment: Details the reason the adjustment was made.
Total Amount of Adjustment: The total amount for the adjustment.

Detailed Listing of Transactions: A detailed list of all settled transaction on the account for the report month.

Auth Date: Date the transaction was placed.
Settle Date: Date the funds for the transaction deposited to the 2Checkout account.
Transaction ID: The 2Checkout sale ID for the transaction.
Payment Method: The payment type used for the transaction. Card type or PayPal.
Country of Origin: The location of the billing address provided by the buyer.
Sale Amount: The USD total for the transaction.
Chargeback amount: The amount of the chargeback on the transaction where applicable.
Refunds: The amount of any refunds issued against the transaction in the report month.
Total Fees: The total of all transaction fees for the transaction.
